There is plenty going and our activities coordinators put together a full programme which is adapted to suit the needs and wishes of our residents. Activities include quizzes, sing-alongs, reminiscence therapy, indoor games, art and craft, baking and wherever possible, trips out and about. The staff are good and they go on training courses to update their skills. The atmosphere in the home is always pleasant and I am happy that my wife is in it. Friends and family are welcome at any time. Hot drinks and snacks are always available and guests are invited to share a meal with residents.
Whilst mum was mentally alert, she could be very demanding and difficult at times and yet staff continued to be cheerful and tend to her needs. Support was also on hand for my daughter and myself - and we were grateful for that on days when mum was being a bit difficult. I would highly recommend Eastwood Court care home. All the staff are fantastic and provide a great service and a high level of care. Our facility provides a myriad of services for individuals and families seeking short-term rehabilitation or long- term care services.
